The Spes Bona Guest Farm Gravel 50 miler - 86 km
Take on the ultimate gravel cycling event in Durbanville with the Spes Bona Guest Farm Gravel 50 Miler. Covering 86 km with 900 metres of elevation gain, this endurance-focused gravel ride is designed for cyclists who love the freedom of quiet back roads, rolling countryside, and the challenge of long-distance adventure.

The Klein Phisantekraal Fun Cruise - 12km
New to gravel cycling or looking for a relaxed ride through the beautiful Durbanville countryside? The Klein Phisantekraal Fun Cruise is the perfect introduction to the exciting world of gravel cycling in Durbanville. Covering 12 km with a gentle 168 metres of elevation gain, this fun and accessible route is designed for beginners, families, recreational cyclists, and anyone wanting to enjoy a scenic day on two wheels.
Following quiet gravel roads and picturesque farm tracks, the route offers an enjoyable mix of rolling terrain, open countryside, and stunning vineyard views. More Information
All Gravel events will be starting on the Durbanville High School grounds in Langenhoven Street, Durbanville, where the groups will be formed. Heading north-east, riders will soon after the start hit gravel for a great experience in the Klipheuwel area.
After completing their respective events on Klein Phisantekraal Farm, participants will return to the Rugby Field to receive their medal and refreshments.
Please note that Gravel event entries are managed by the Golazo. The Gravel event is sanctioned by Cycling South Africa and participants who are not a member of Cycling SA will be required to purchase a day license.
Timing and results are managed by Finish Time and the permanent Racetec MTB board will be used. Please note that the timing Chip is embedded in your permanent RaceTec MTB Board. If you already own a Permanent RaceTec MTB Board, please remember to bring your MTB board to the event. Lost or new boards are available at R140 each.
You will be issued with a Durbie Dash event sticker at Registration which you will need to apply across the top of the MTB Board over the RaceTec Logo. You will also receive a Seeding sticker that will match the start group you have been seeded in. The seeding sticker needs to be applied in the bottom right corner in the provided square area that says "Seeding". Please note that you will not be able to start the event without your RaceTec MTB Board.
